Envision® Glazes

 

Envision Glazes is a full color line offering opaque, semi-opaque and transparent colors with a high-gloss finish and outstanding brushability for ease of application. 

Characteristics

 

Duncan Envision Glazes are carefully formulated to give consistently beautiful, true-color, high-gloss finishes and outstanding brushability for ease of application. The Envision Glazes provide a very wide range of colors and a variety of color depth: opaque, semi-opaque, transparent (colored), and clear. Their uses are equally extensive, from a clear or transparent finish used over underglaze design work to solid-color coverage. This family of glazes is food safe and nontoxic. Most of the Envision glazes are over glaze compatible.  Be sure to read the label before using. If the label does not have a statement “Overglaze compatible” then glaze is NOT overglaze compatible. 

 

How To Use

 

  1. Apply to witness cone 04 bisque.
  2. Apply 3 flowing coats unless otherwise stated on jar label.
  3. Allow to dry thoroughly.
  4. Fire to witness cone 06.
  5. Thin with water or Thin ‘n Shade if needed.  

 

Tips

 

Over Underglazes – While transparent (colored) Envision Glazes can be used over underglazes, their color may change the colors of the underglazes. Test fire a small sample to be sure of satisfactory results.

Transparent colors are best on detailed pieces.
